Defense Attorney: Self-explanatory. Your job is to represent clients in court when requested and advise in legal matters whether it is done with individuals or business related. Your character must have some attorney experience to apply for this position. Attorney Assistants: This one is pretty open to anyone regardless of how much or how little your character understand the law. An assistant's job is help an attorney during investigations and give moral support aid them in court. Although, don't be surprised if you end up with odd jobs around the office too. Having a skill that you can offer to the defense is also a nice bonus. If your character would like to learn how to be an attorney at law, they fall under this category too.
Name: Gregory Edgeworth(Ace Attorney) | notadetective Position: Defense Attorney Years/Months of experience: 11 Years Full/Part-time: Full time, he runs the office and all. Skill: Mentor, Methodical, Logic. Gregory takes a more conventional approach as a defense attorney. He confronts his witness directly to get his information, and uses the evidence gathered and logic to make his own deductions. He's calm when under pressure and isn't afraid to stand up against corruption. He's probably best known for giving Manfred Von Karma, a prosecutor known for his perfect record, his first penalty for using forged evidence. His reason for becoming a defense attorney was to save clients from being found guilty of crimes they did not commit. Roster Icon:
Name: Maya Fey (Ace Attorney) | feytalism Position: Assistant Years/Months of experience: She has about 3 years of experience being an attorney assistant, does that count?! Actual Job position: Ace Assistant: Spirit Medium Full/Part-time: Probably a little bit of both, actually! Especially since she knows that attorneys should never be alone or without a happy person. Skill: Quirky, spiritual, and helpful. Maya Fey is a spirit medium without any ability to channel any spirits. However, her spunk in and out of the courtroom brings a smile to everyone's faces, even if it may (or may not!) be needed. After all, a lawyer has to always smile until the very end. Roster Icon:
Name: Athena Cykes(Ace Attorney) | cykedandready Position: Defense Attorney Years/Months of experience: About six months Full/Part-time: Full time. Skill: Excitable, intelligent, passionate, psychology. Athena has the ability to hear the emotions in people's hearts and she analyses them using a device called Widget. This way, she can find odd emotions when witness' testimonies, ask the witnesses about them and draw more testimony so she can find the truth. While perky and dedicated, Athena can have lapses in confidence. She hasn't worked very long in the trade, after all. Roster Icon:
Name: Ran Shibuki (Aikatsu!) | spicyageha Position: Assistant Actual Job position: General Assistant Full/Part-time: Part-time, mostly. Skill: Dilligent, hard-working and goal-oriented. While Ran has no such skill in any sort of law field, she is motivated to better herself in her little odd jobs around the firm. When there's a job to be done, she won't say no to it - it'd be considered as part of her idol training, though she knows there's really nothing idol-like about the work.
